Introductory Contact Rules

Some important information to know about making “First Contact”

All Preferred Contact by Email must include cc: mailto:info@oasisbackup.care.

  1. Contact email originating from Oasis Back-Up Care  (info@oasisbackup.care) regarding case confirmation will Cc: “the caregiver” on all communications
  2. Caregivers are required to “reply all” on all communications, and introductions following an Oasis generated email.

All Preferred Contact by Phone Call

  1. Preferred Method of Contact Calls – are confirmed as “completed” via text by the Caregiver to the Manager on Duty” Screenshots of the confirmation are saved to the case file for reference.
  2. Secondary contact should be initiated 24 hours before care by phone or text. A screenshot of the phone record, or text message shall be sent to info@oasisbackup.care referencing the date and case number.
    1. If no response is received by Employee Client – Caregiver notifies manager. A Secondary Contact email is sent from Oasis notifying the client of impending care and request for further instructions, as well as the caregiver email contact.

What’s a good reason for NOT making an introductory contact? You have sabbath – you are in the hospital…or a catastrophic event has occurred in your life in which case you would be removed from the case. What do I do if I can’t make the Introductory communication? If you cannot make your own introduction reach out to your local manager and ask for assistance. An email will be sent from Oasis on your behalf. You will be required to reach out to your client as soon as you are safely available to email or call.
